I have been watching Arma for around a decade. I finally made the huge plunge and spent a whopping $30 or so dollars for Arma Reforger, aka Arma 3.5. The gameplay is exactly as amazing as I knew it would be.
The problem I am running into is there is no real organization when playing with "civilians". Those who are in clubs or teams or members of some group have organization and I imagine that makes a huge difference in the quality of game play. I just do not want to obligate myself to having to log so many hours and meet schedules to work my way up the ranks just so I can have a good experience.
So, it seems, I am stuck jumping into random servers where I immediately try to find a fire team or squad that wants to work together, hope there are no idiot team kill players out there, and work as a unit to accomplish missions.
